Drifter

Trapped in a strange dimension with no fuel. Your engine might not work, but your guns definitely do.

Initially made for the GMTK 2020 game jam, under the theme "Out of Control", Drifter is a bullet hell where you have to earn your ability to move. 

Since the jam, the game has been updated significantly (found under the 1-4 release), and now features numerous graphical enhancements, a new map, many new environmental features, bug fixes, a scoring system, and a boss fight. This will serve as a demo for what will eventually be a full release, featuring a full campaign, more enemies, more environmental features and powerups, and a competitive/cooperative multiplayer mode.

CONTROLS

Mouse 1 : shoot autocannon, hold to charge. Charged shots penetrate enemies.

Mouse 2 : grapple onto powerups, and pull

Q or Mouse 4 : shoot rocket

WASD : Move when fuel has been acquired

ESC : pause
